Welcome friday! I hope that you had a great week and that you have nice plans for the weekend. My weekend will be filled with family time and I just love it.
Today I`m showing you two layouts with pictures from me and my hubbys Italytrip this summer. We drove for three weeks and got to see so much beautiful things.

Välkommen fredag! Jag hoppas att ni har haft en härlig vecka och att ni har trevliga planer för helgen. Min helg kommer att vara fylld med familjetid och det älskar jag.
Idag visar jag er två layouter med bilder från gubbens och min Italienresa i somras. Vi körde omkring i tre veckor och upplevde så många fantastiska vackra saker.

Hi,

The night before the last day before vacation I looked at the gifts for my coworkers and thought that I wanted to make them more personal. I decorated a tag for each and every one and wrote a personal greeting. It was an intense, creative process. This is what I made:

Hej all fina! Anna här med ännu en färgglad layout. Den här gången har jag lekt med tre härliga kollektioner, Paige Taylor Evans Pick Me Up av Pink Paislee, Shimelle Box of Crayons och Amy Tangerine Sunshine & Good Times båda av American Crafts.

Min galet färgglada bakgrund har jag skapat med “plastpåsetekniken” och flera olika färger av Glimmer Mist av Tattered Angels.

Hi lovelies! Anna here sharing another colorful layout. This time I’ve been playing with three gorgeous collections, Paige Taylor Evans Pick Me Up by Pink Paislee, Shimelle Box of Crayons and AmyTangerine Sunshine & Good Times both by American Crafts.

I’ve used several of different colors of Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels using the “plastic bag technique” for my crazy colorful background.

Besties – layout med Vicki Boutin och Pink paislee

När det släpps flera nya kollektioner samtidigt så tycker jag det är kul att se vilka som går att kombinera. Visst är det bekvämt att ta en kollektion med papper, dekorationer och allt så man vet att det matchar. Men det är lite kul och utmanande att matcha ihop olika också. Det här bakgrundspappret från Pink Paislees kollektion “Wild Child” valde jag egentligen mer för den neutrala baksidan med turkosa hjärtan. Men sen insåg jag att a-sidan matchade jättefint med Vicki Boutins blommor från “All the good things”. De gula och rosa tonerna är i princip samma. Och Pink Paislee-pappret är ett sådan som jag tycker är svårt att använda, men som blev perfekt till just det här fotot på mig och ett av mina härliga tjejgäng.

Whenever there are a lot of new releases at once I think it’s fun to see which ones I can combine that matches. It is very conveniant to buy a whole collection with embellishments, papers and all so you know they match. But sometimes it’s a good challenge to mix different collections as well. This background paper from Pink Paislees “Wild child” collection I originally chose for the more neutral b-side with turquise hearts. But then I saw that the colors were very much like the ones in Vicki Boutins All the good things flower paper. The yellows and pinks are almost identical. And since the Pink Paislee paper is one of those pretty papers that I think are hard to use, but it turned out perfect for this photo of me and my awesome girlfriends.

Hi everyone! Alex here, bringing you another Wild Child layout.

Alla rymdraketer i den här kollektionen passar perfekt när man har en liten kille som älskar att leka med Thunderbirds.

All the space rockets in this collection is exactly what you need when you have a kid who loves to play with Thunderbirds.

Jag klippte ut moln från ett 6×6 papper (det finns tre av varje mönster i ett 6×6 block) och använde dem som dekoration. Det passade också fint till hela “flygande farkost” temat. Ett av molnen blev en utmärkt yta för journaling.

I cut out the clouds from a 6×6 paper (there are three of each pattern in the 6×6 paper pad) and used them as embellishments. They felt like a great touch to all the “flying vessels” theme. One of the clouds turned out to be a great spot for the journaling.

Pink Paislee Wild Child + Crate Paper Main Squeeze

Hej allihopa! Alex här med en ny layout. Jag har gjort något jag nästan aldrig gör: jag har blandat två kollektioner! Känner mig helt wild and crazy! Haha! Crate Paper Main Squeeze och Pink Paislee Wild Child passade så fint ihop att det kändes helt naturligt att mixa dem. Till och med för någon som mig, någon som nästan uteslutande scrappar med en kollektion åt gången.

Hi everyone! Alex here, bringing you another layout. I have done something I almost never do: I have mixed two collections on a same layout! Feeling all wild and crazy over here! Haha! Crate Paper Main Squeeze and Pink Paislee Wild Child worked so well together that mixing them didn’t feel weird at all. Not even for someone like me, someone who almost exclusively works with one collection at a time.

Over the moon – layout med Vicki Boutin och Pink Paislee

Jag kan verkligen inte motstå papper med molnmotiv. Så när jag såg detta papper från Pink Paislee som heter Rockets/Night sky så var det himmelrike. Med mjuka mint gröna och lila dekorationer från Vicki Boutins kollektion All the good things, lite mixed media dekorationer och massor av silverstänk och silverglitter skapade jag en drömskt layout om hur ljuvligt vardagen är med en 3-åring i mitt liv…

I just can not resist papers with clouds. So when I saw the b-side of this Pink Paislee paper called Rockets/night sky I was over the moon. I combined it with soft mint green and purple pieces from Vicki Boutins collection All the good things, some mixed media decorations and lots of silver shimmers for a dreamy layout about just the everyday loveliness of having a three year old in my life…

Jag klippte ut cirkeln för hand för att få en oregelbunden, organiskt look. Sen skar jag ut vissa partier med skärkniv för att den skulle bli mindre kompakt innan jag färglade den. Textetiketterna är från Vicki Boutin och är vita från början men tryckta på ett härligt tjockt papper så man kan färglägga dem själv.

I cut the circle by hand to get a irregular, organic look. Then I cut slits and holes with my craft knife before I coloured it. The labels with texts are from Vicki Boutin. They are white to begin with but printed on nice, heavy paper so you can color them yourself with a variety of mediums. Holds water colors and distress inks really well for example.

Så fort jag såg texten “Girl Gang”, visste jag vilken bild jag skulle scrappa, nämligen den här bilden på min mamma, min syster och mig och våra tre döttrar – tre generationer tjejer ♥

As soon as I saw the title “Girl Gang”, I instantly knew which photo I was going to scrap. This is my mom, my sister and I and our three daughters – three generations of girls ♥

Det är sällan jag river papper, men fick för mig att göra det på den här sidan 😀 Känns riktigt ovant, men de enkla kanterna fick iaf lite mer dimension.

I don’t usually tear the paper, but I somehow ended up doing just that for this page 😀 It did feel a bit odd, but my simple edges did get a little more dimension that way.

Lovely – layout med Vicki Boutin/American Crafts

Vicki Boutins nya kollektion “All the good things” har verkligen tagit scrapvärlden med storm. Hennes facebookgrupp och instagram är superaktiva med massor av fin fin inspiration. Jag är ett stort fan och älskar att skapa med de härliga produkterna. Allt är uttänkt för att passa oss som gillar att blanda in mixed media i våra layouter (såklart funkar de även om mixed media inte är din grej). På dagens layout har jag inte kladdat så mycket på själva bakgrunden som jag brukar. Därför har jag också valt ett mönstrat papper för en gång skull. Den är från Pink Paislee som också har några superhärliga nya kollektioner ute. Jag har dock lekt loss med färger på Vicki Boutins härliga, tjocka cardstock som jag sedan stämplat fjärilar på och stansat ut. Du ser dem instuckna här och där bland de andra dekorationerna.

Vicki Boutins new collection All the good things has really taken the scrap community by storm. Her facebookgroup and instagram are filled with lots of lovely inspiration from all over the world. I’m a big fan and just love to work with the great products. Everything is thought out to work for us who loves mixed media. You can of course use them even if you are not into mixed media. Today I show you a layout where I haven’t used any mediums on my background as I usually do. Therefor I chose a pattern paper for my background instead of my usual white one. It is from Pink Paislee that also have a couple of super cute new collections in stock. But I do have some mixed media elements. I played with my colors on Vicki Boutin’s nice, thick foundation paper and then stamped and die cut butterflys out of it. You can see them here and there peaking out among the other decorations.

När jag ser ett papper som “Dandelions” kan jag inte låta bli att ta fram saxen och börja klippa. För mig som är en ganska snabb och enkel scrappare kan sånt här pill vara lite för tidskrävande, men ändå… Det är definitvt värt mödan.

When I see a paper such as “Dandelions”, I just can’t resist puling out my scissors and fussy-cutting. For a fast and simple scrapbooker such as myself,, fussy-cutting  may seem to be a little too time consuming. It’s totally worth the effort though.
