Do you remember the Bubble Technique? It is a technique where you use a straw to make a fab bubble pattern. You mix good quality acrylic paint with water and a wee bit of dishwasing soap. Mix it all in a glass, blow bubbles and then you smootch the paper on the bubbles. Love this technique. I used this technique on three of my tags and on the other two I went crazy with Dinas Glossy Sprays. I used different silhuettes to finish of the backgrounds. And then decorated.

Kommer du ihåg bubbeltekniken? Det är en teknik där du blandar högkvaliteakrylfärg med lite vatten och diskmedel i ett glas. Sen blåser du bubbler med ett sugrör tills att glaset blir överfullt av bubblor. Då stryker du pappret mot bubblorna och så får du ett magiskt bubbelmönster. Supersnyggt. Jag har använt denna teknik på tre av mina tags och sen har jag gått bananas med Dinas Glossy Spray på de andra två. Jag har använt olika silhuetter för att få en snygg bakgrund och sen dekorerat.

Distress ink bubbles .:. and Kaisercraft Sunkissed Collection

A few weeks ago I tried making distress squares on cards for the first time. Ever since that I was thinking of taking the concept to a layout. So I did and I made the squares round LOL. The same technique but this time I used Stamping mask paper. I cut round holes in the masking paper and then I used the distress ink twice, once first and then again over a stencil. Then I moved my stamping mask paper. I used the brand new Kaisercraft Sunkissed collection on my page.

För några veckor sedan provade jag att göra distressrutor på kort för första gången. Ända sedan dess har jag tänkt att jag skulle ta konceptet och tekniken över till en layout. Och det gjorde jag, fast rutorna blev cirklar och jag använde stamping mask paper.  Jag klippte ut runda hål och använde dem två gånger för varje cirkel, en gång med bara distress ink och en gång över en stencil från Vicki Boutin. Sen flyttade jag stamping mask pappret. Jag har använt den sprillans nya Sunkissed collection från Kaisercraft.
