My happy place – Apricot Honey from Prima Marketing

Hi!
Sometimes we all need some time for our selfs. When that happens to me I go to Bjärred. There is a house way out above the ocean with a sauna and a possibility to swim in the ocean all year around. I just love it!
I played with Prima Marketings collection “Apricot Honey” this time, a beautiful collection.

Ibland behöver vi alla lite tid i lugn och ro för oss själva. När det är aktuellt för mig så åker jag till Bjärreds Kallbadhus. Där finns en bastu och möjlighet att bada i havet året runt. Jag älskar verkligen det stället.
Jag lekte med Prima Marketings kollektion “Apricot Honey” denna gången, en vacker kollektion.

I colored the background with Tonic Studioas Sparkle spray. I sprayed it on a small plastic bag and then “kissed” the paper with the bag.

Jag färgade bakgrunden med Tonic Studios Sparkle Spray. Jag sprayade på en liten plastpåse och “kysste” sedan pappret med påsen.

“Fall Farmhouse” from Simple Stories

Hi!
Another week almost to its end and it´s getting closer to christmas every day.
I scrapbook an album to myself every year. Each of my grandchildren gets one as well. I have two grandchildren, next year they will be three. This means I make a lot of pages every year. In both size 12×12 and 8,5×11. This time it´s fallpages made with Simple Stories “Fall Farmhouse”. A beautiful collection!

Ännu en vecka är snart slut och vi närmar oss julen snabbt. Jag gör ett scrapbookalbum till mig själv varje år. Båda mina barnbarn får album också. Nu har jag två barnbarn, nästa år är de tre. detta betyder att jag gör många layouter varje år. Jag gör layouter i olika storlekar, 12×12 till mig och 8,5×11 till barnbarnen. Denna gången är det höstsidor gjorda med Simple Stories kollektion “Fall Farmhouse”. En underbar kollektion!

Jag älskar verkligen höstfärgerna…..

I like to put some decorations or papers on 3D squares to get some dimension.

Jag gillar att montera dekorationer eller mönsterpapper på 3D-kuddar för att få lite dimension.

December Daily Gratitude Journal

Hi!
So, it is getting closer to december and christmas. I have made a December Daily several times before, but this year I figured that I wanted to do it a little bit different. I am doing a December Daily Gratitude Journal. I will take some time in the end of every day in december to sit down and reflect. I want to write about all the things that I am thankfull for, all the joys in my life. I think that this will be a great experience for me.

Nu börjar det närma sig december och jul. Som så många av er så har jag gjort ett “December Daily” album förut. Denna gången bestämde jag mig för att göra det lite annorlunda. Jag ska ta en liten stund i slutet av varje dag i december för att sitta ner och reflektera. Jag vill skriva lite om alla de saker som jag är tacksam för, alla glädjeämnen i mitt liv. Jag tror att detta kommer att bli en bra upplevelse för mig.

I have worked with a lot of the papers and embellishments from Simple Stories collection “Country Christmas”.

The album is from Frank Garcias Memory Hardware collection. I painted it black with Dylusions “Black Marble”.

I made little cards marked with the dates.

This child, my beautiful grandson Hugo. He is such a happy child. Loves to be outside. Actually likes to be photographed 🙂
I am using Echo Parks collection “Pirate Tales” in these two layouts. It is a great fit for the photographs.

I used one of the collections stencil in the background.

Jag använde en av kollektionens stenciler i bakgrunden.

I usually put some of the photographs on photo mats and then mount the mats on foam tape. I like the dimensions it creates.

Jag monterar ofta ett eller flera foton på fotomattor. Sedan monterar jag de på 3D-tejp för att få lite dimension i layouten.

As much as I love summer, I can´t deny that I love fall colors. This collection, “Autumn Splendor” is wonderful. So welcome fall colors, candlelights, sweather weather, pumpkins, soups and casseroles.

I distressed the edges of some of the patterned papers.

The Thickers has been around for a while, but I still use them a lot. I think that they are so easy to use.

De bokstäver som jag använder har funnits med ett tag, men jag använder fortfarande dem en hel del. de är så lätta att arbeta med.

Can you see the sparkles from Tonic Studio Nuvo Sparkle Spray? It is amazing.

Truly Grateful from Pink Paislee

I usually build my layouts on white cardstock, but this time I used colored, patterned papers. This collection “Truly Grateful” from Paige Evans is so nice. Beautiful colors and patterns. Lots and lots of different embellishments. Love it!

Jag bygger oftast mina layouter på vit cardstock, men denna gången byggde jag dem på färgade, mönstrade papper. Denna kollektionen “Truly Grateful” från Paige Evans är så fin. Vackra färger och mönster. Massor av olika dekorationer att arbeta med.

I used some Gesso in the background to ease the colored paper.

Jag använde lite Gesso på bakgrunden för att lugna ner det färgade pappret.

Love the flowers in the Ephemera-pack. Lots and lots of them.

Jag älskar blommorna i ett av dekorationspaketen. Det fanns massor av blommor.

These wooden buttons, can you not love them?

Dessa träknapparna, kan man verkligen inte älska dem?

The alphas are almost like puffy stickers. So cute!

Bokstäverna är nästan som puffade klistermärken. Så gulliga!

One of the last days of summer 2019 by the beach is in this first photos. I am so happy to see how my two grandchildren interacts with each other. Saga, who is a year older than Hugo is really taking the “big sister” role. The photos in the second layout is a typical activity for fall, a visit at an outdoor zoo.

En av sommaren 2019 sista dagar på stranden finns på den första layoutens foto. Jag blir så glad över att se hur mina barnbarn interagerar med varandra. Saga, som är ett år äldre än Hugo tar verkligen sin roll som äldre på allvar. Foto på den andra layouten visar en typisk aktivitet för hösten, ett besök på Skånes Djurpark.

This was my first experience with Tonic Studios Nuvo Sparkle Spray. It is great. The colors are strong in pigment, a little bit metallic and really sparkly.

Detta var min första erfarenhet av Tonic Studios Nuvo Sparkle Spray. Färgerna är starkt pigmenterad, är lite metalliska och riktigt glittriga.
