Wintery Heart – Finnabair products – Prima Marketing

Wintery and Christmas projects are so fun to create. Here layers of paste Snow Effect Paste and when it still was wet I added some pearls turquoise shades. The Christmas trees you find the both from Prima and Tim Holtz. There is some Texture paste with crackle in the background and over that modeling paste in a stencil from Finnabair.

Christmas Cards with Memory Box Snowflakes

I think it’s fun to limit myself to just a few items, even if I don’t really have to. But it’s challenging and fun, and in this case I planned to do four different cards, but using the same products. Leftover pieces from one card was the beginning of next card and nothing gets waste. This is extra fun when you need a bunch of cards, but don’t want to do all the same. The whole idea started with inspiration from an autumn card my dt-colleague Anna Uhras made earlier this fall.

Jag tycker det är lite skoj att begränsa mig till några få produkter, även om jag egentligen inte behöver. Men det är utmanande och roligt och i det här fallet så planerade jag att göra fyra olika kort, men med samma produkter. Överblivna bitar från första kortet blev början till nästa osv, och inget behöver gå till spillo. Detta är extra roligt när man behöver en bunt kort, men inte vill göra alla lika. Idén startade med inspiration från ett höstkort som min dt-kollega Anna Uhras gjort tidigare i höstas.

I’m so excited to share a new project with you today, this time I opted for a ordinary 12×12 layout. I’ve got the lovely Crafternoon Collection by Kaisercraft in my hands and here’s what I came up with using it!

The Good Stuff .:. Longing back to summer .:. Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope

It is getting cold in Sweden and I am long back to summer. So I made a page about the lazy summer days in Greece – oh we had so much fun! I used the Color Kaleidoscope collection by Vicki Boutin for my page. Still got a few bits and pieces left to play with. The background is Vicki’s Watercolor Markers on Prima Marketing Watercolor Paper Pad. I used the kissing/smootching technique adding water and the I used some drips of concentrated pigment color from the Watercolor markers for the darker stains. Love it!

Det börjar bli kallt och jag längtar tillbaka till sommaren. Åh vi hade verkligen en härlig tid i Grekland i somras men lata mysiga dagar vid poolen. Jag har använt Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope – jag har faktiskt några saker lvar i kollektionen att skapa med. Den är underbar! Bakgrunden har jag gjort med Vicki’s WAtercolor Markers på Primas Watercolor Paper Pad. Jag använde Kissing/Smootching-tekniken där jag blandade upp watercolors med lite vatten på en platsbit. De mörkare stänken har lite mer pigment så där finns inget vatten inblandat. Jag gjorde dem med en solfjäderspensel. Älskart!

A Chrismas Card – My Favorite Winter by Echo Park

Hi dear friends! Anna here with you today sharing a christmas card using the beautiful My Favorite Winter by Echo Park. Also I’ve used some lovely glimmering Nuvo Glacier Paste by Tonic Studios. This paper collection isn’t a paticular chrismas collection which means you can use it all the winter not only for christmas projects.

Den här papperskollektionen är inte en särskild julkollektion vilket innebär att har användning för den hela vintern och inte bara för dina julprojekt.

I made another art journaling spread with a new set of colors. When I prepped the background it was a bit too bright for my taste so I used some heavy white gesso to mat it down. And then I added some stamping. In the end it goes well with the photo and the phrase Boldly dare to be a POP OF COLOR in a black and white world I think.
I used the Watercolor Markers from Vicki Boutin and the Color Kaliedoscope collection. I based my journal on a Insert book from Dylusions.

Jag har gjort en ny artjournalingsida. Den här gången har jag använt nya färger och när jag var klar med dem kändes de lite för starka för min smak så jag använde vit heavy gesso med en mask och stämplar för att matta ner färgerna lite. Men den passar väldigt bra med fotot och frasen Boldly dare to be a POP OF COLOR in a black and white world tycker jag. Jag har använt Watercolor Markers från Vicki Boutin och även hennes Color Kalidoscope-kollektion. Jag har använt min artjournal från Dylusions som bas.

December Daily Gratitude Journal

Hi!
So, it is getting closer to december and christmas. I have made a December Daily several times before, but this year I figured that I wanted to do it a little bit different. I am doing a December Daily Gratitude Journal. I will take some time in the end of every day in december to sit down and reflect. I want to write about all the things that I am thankfull for, all the joys in my life. I think that this will be a great experience for me.

Nu börjar det närma sig december och jul. Som så många av er så har jag gjort ett “December Daily” album förut. Denna gången bestämde jag mig för att göra det lite annorlunda. Jag ska ta en liten stund i slutet av varje dag i december för att sitta ner och reflektera. Jag vill skriva lite om alla de saker som jag är tacksam för, alla glädjeämnen i mitt liv. Jag tror att detta kommer att bli en bra upplevelse för mig.
